Patricia Fay Lemke

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 15, 1934, to Arthur and Martha Mueller, Pat exuded enthusiasm and a radiant smile that touched everyone she met. After graduating high school, she married Harvey Tank and together they began their life in Brandon, Wisconsin, where they welcomed their daughter, Colleen, in 1961.

Pat was a woman of remarkable work ethic and heart. Whether helping on the family farm, driving a school bus, or serving as a secretary for a local business, she approached every role with care and commitment.

Following Harvey’s passing in 1989, Pat found love again and married Ken Lemke on St. Patrick’s Day, 1990. The two shared a joyful life together, remaining on the farm through retirement before embarking on a new adventure in Colorado. Eventually, they settled in Fort Collins, where they built a cherished circle of friends and community.

A gifted creator, Pat found joy in many forms of artistry. She was a talented cook and baker, a skilled seamstress and needleworker, and later, an inspired painter. Her beautiful works on glass, wood, and canvas brought her great fulfillment and became treasured by those around her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harvey; her brothers, Arthur and LeRoy Mueller, along with their spouses; her brother in law, Charles Lawson and her niece, Cheryl Robison.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Ken; daughter, Colleen; her stepdaughters, Christine and Cheryl; Sister in law Lois; four nieces and nephews, five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren — each a part of the rich legacy she leaves behind.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fort Collins. The service will also be live-streamed and can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/user/StPeterWELS/featured.

Fitting to her simple and graceful wishes, Pat requested only one red rose.
