   I was fortunate to have known your Mom and Dad as a young boy  in Canonsburg   until 1954 when your dad laid the last fireplace stone in our new family home the day before he and your Mom left for California in 1954 and as a young man when I was fortunate to be their house guests for 2 weeks during the summer of 1967 along with my sister Donna and our mutual cousin Angela (Babe) DiStefano.
   Libby was gracious,  soft spoken and faithful
   She will always be thought of with utmost respect
   You have my deepest sympathies for your great loss

 I remember Phil and Libby as being gracious hosts when visiting them in their California home.  We were excited to go to Anaheim and we were so comfortable with them.  
I did know her when I was young girl living in Canonsburg because my father, Sam Distefano, was Phil’s uncle. They were more like brothers.  
My sincere sympathy to “Bubbles “ and her brother, Danny. 


My dear Aunt Lib.  I will miss her immensely.  I am so thankful that my parents chose her to be my godmother along with my Uncle George as my godfather.  She has been an inspiration to me because of her deep strong faith and unending love.  

I have fond memories of her here in Canonsburg and then after moving to California her home was always open to all who visited.  

Eternal rest grant unto her and let perpetual light shine upon her.  May she rest in peace. 


I have unique memories of Libby as I think we all do. Libby was my sweet young aunt who lived in the third floor apartment next door with Uncle Phil and cousin JoAnn. She was probably one of the first people I ever met beyond Mom & Dad. Aunt Libby was the one who gave me a bath in her kitchen sink when I was still small enough to fit in one.  I distinctly remember her  giggling a lot.

Downstairs  was where grandpa, grandma, great grandma, and Uncle Mike lived. Uncle Rick and Aunt Lee lived in town along with Uncle Sam and Aunt Rose and a swarm of other relatives.

That bath in her kitchen sink was just a moment in time but a very special and unforgettable memory for me. I will always remember Aunt Libby with love and affection.
