Mable Marie Dupre

Mable Price Dupre, 90 years old, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Gonzales, LA. Mable enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, painting, drinking coffee and having her friends over to visit. Mable is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Dupre, Jr.; daughter, Patsy Dupre. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, James (Sharlene Naquin) Dupre, Michael (Janell) Dupre, Chris (Annette) Dupre, Barry (Carol) Dupre; grandchildren, Johnny (Hope) Dupre, Vicky (Paul) Marks, Jake (Sonya) Dupre, Michelle (Jesse) James, Zachary Dupre, Courtney Dupre, Stephen Dupre, Blake Dupre, Micah (Brock) Ballow; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends of Mable are invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home-Gonzales from 5pm to 8pm and Monday, April 26, 2021 from 9am-10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Theresa Avila Catholic Church at 11am. Interment: Hope Haven Mausoleum.
