Marilyn Schaeffer

Marilyn Schaeffer born 12/19/35 past peacefully on November 30, 2015 with her family by her side. A native of New York is survived by her son Gene Esry Pope, Jr., Daughter Deborah Mervar her husband Jim Mervar, grandchildren Shaunda Nordquist Russo, Jeannie Pope, and her greatest joy her great grandchildren Xander Joseph Russo and MyKean Zayne Pope. For most of her like Marilyn worked in Quality Control in electronics for ECC and after retirement worked for Goodwill Industries of Central Florida as the finder of lost treasures. Everyone she met she touched and although she was faced with obstacles most could not conquer her love for life, food and most important family would prevailed with a "YES" and thumbs up.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life will take place on December 19th, which would have been her 80th birthday with food and drinks provided. The celebration will be at her home at 306 Sterling Lake Drive, Ocoee, 34761; from 12:00pm – 3:00pm, with a short service starting at 12:45pm.
