She was diagnosed with ALS in March of 2020. She battled the symptoms of this disease with grace, relying as a needy soul upon the sacrifice and righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI in the summer of 1955 to John and Jane Mast.
She was preceded to glory by her father, John Mast. Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Jane Mast. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Walter Rozeboom, and their children: David (Brennan) Rozeboom, Joan Rozeboom, Sarah (Daniel) Schipper, Jonathan (Paula) Rozeboom, Lydia (Tad) Landheer, Brittany Willman, and Paul Rozeboom. One of her greatest joys was her ten grandchildren: Liam, Caleb, Meredith, and Claire Schipper; Theo, Levi, and Elizabeth Rozeboom; Owen Landheer, and Remi and Audrey Willman, She was a loving and loyal sister to her five siblings, John (Cathi) Mast, Neil Mast, Jane (Will) Heikoop, Joy (Marion) Blom, and Carl (Michelle) Mast. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, known endearingly to many of them as “auntie”.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Providence Reformed Church, (1700 Coit NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). Visitation with the family will take place at the same location from 11am - 12:40pm.
