Melvin Lee Ramer, age 87, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He was born November 17, 1931 to and Millard and Jewel Bate Ramer. Melvin was a 1949 graduate of Greensburg High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He married Mary Ann Schneider on January 3, 1981; she preceded him in death on October 4, 2015. Melvin retired from Cummins and was a lifetime farmer.

man; sister, Loretta Colson and sister-in-law, Jere Ramer; several nieces and nephews. Melvin was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Ann Ramer; father, Millard Ramer; mother, Jewel Ramer; brother, Kenny Ramer.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 pm all at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Millhousen, Indiana.
