Saundra K. Barnhardt of Greenville, Ohio passed away March 19, 2021. Saundra was born in Greenville on February 15, 1943. She was a daughter to the late Viola (Croyle) and Wayne Barnhardt.

Saundra was devoted to her faith, family and friends. She was a longtime attendee of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1961. She worked for the Ohio Department of Family Services as a supervisor for the food stamp program (now SNAP).

Saundra is survived by her sisters Connie (Ted) Wyan; Janet (Bill) Wolfe; and brother Mike (Jill) Barnhardt: 3 nieces; five nephews; 5 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; 1 step-nephew; 1 great-great niece: aunt Helen Kraus: uncle Keith Barnhardt: sister-in-law Deb Barnhardt: and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents: brother Lloyd: nephew Jeff Barnhardt: step- niece Christy Haag.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. A graveside funeral service will be held following visitation at Greenville Township Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 306 Devor Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331. Saundra was a very special person to our family. She was our daughters’ first Sunday School teacher and a generous friend. I’m so sorry to learn she’s gone from this earth but delighted she’s with Jesus. 🌺
