Glen Mayo

Glen Mayo, 70, of Huntington, Arkansas passed peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Glen was the founder and pastor of New Life Tabernacle Church in Huntington along with his beloved wife, Hilda. Glen was born May 25, 1946 in Mansfield, Arkansas to the late Loy and Leatrice Mayo.

Glen is survived by his wife, Hilda Mayo, with whom he raised four children; three sons, David and Mary Mayo of Aberdeen, North Carolina, Daniel and April Mayo of Mansfield, Arkansas, Brad and Lynette Howard of Greenwood, Arkansas: one daughter, Melissa and Charles Yeakley of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five grandsons, Hayden, Clayton, Carson and Connor Mayo and Bryce Howard; three granddaughters, Cassie Yeakley, Sarah Mayo, and Tori Howard; two sisters, Betty and Garth Cray of Booneville, Arkansas and Sharon and Gary Wagner of Luther, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 26 at New Life Tabernacle Church in Huntington with interment at Huntington Cemetery with military honors under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at New Life Tabernacle Church in Huntington, where the family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
