Willis Forrest Gibbs, 75, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Greenwood. He was born February 22, 1946 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Claude and Lucille (Minyard) Gibbs and grew up in Jenny Lind. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran, serving in 67-68. He was a custom home builder for over 26 years in Fort Smith and surrounding areas. Forrest had a passion for building, fishing and hunting.
In 1971, he married Suzette Marie Benoit. They raised 2 daughters Shannon and Sarah.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Monday, March 29, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas with family visitation to follow.
Forrest is survived by his wife Suzette, his daughters Shannon, Sarah, Stephanie, and Amanda; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
