

Marceline Clark passed away with her family by her side on April 8, 2020 in Gresham, Oregon at the age of 96. She was born on February 26, 1924 in El Monte, California to Modesto and Santos (Ochoa) Valdez.
Marceline served her country in the United States Army during WWII and Korea. In 1953 she married Thomas Clark in Heidleberg, Germany, while they were both in the Army.
Besides raising her family, she worked for many years as a healthcare professional in various capacities at several hospitals and nursing homes before transferring to the Postal Service while living in Alaska before retiring in the 80s.
She volunteered for 20 years at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center in their sewing group. She was an avid reader. She was also very athletic, enjoying running and playing racquetball until she was in her seventies.
She traveled far and wide before settling down and even then, with her husband, took her family to many areas to live.
Her family was the most important part of her life.
Marceline is survived by her two children, daughter Tracy and her husband James Marshall, and her son Brian Clark, plus her sister Virginia Arias and her four grandchildren, Paul Marshall (Dee), Kari Jenkins (Brian McNarr), Sean Marshall (Tara) and Darcella Coleman (Andrew), many great grandchildren and her one great-great grandson, Dorian.
Private interment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery where she will be placed next to her husband Thomas.
