Mildred Gatlin Brady

Mrs. Brady was born on June 29, 1924 in Thomaston, GA, daughter of the late H.C. Gatlin and late Ruby Gatlin. She was an active member of Carver Road Baptist Church in Griffin, GA and a strong witness for her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Bobby Joel Brady and her brothers, Johnny Gatlin, Ray Gatlin, Len Gatlin, Doug Gatlin and sisters, Gerry Parker, Magdalene Goodman and Mary Evans.

Mrs. Brady was a devoted housewife, mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and sister. She was an excellent cook and caretaker for many members of her family for many years. She unselfishly took care of her family with no complaints.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Barbara Brady, Joel and Rhonda Brady and Clint and Nina Brady; grandchildren and spouses, Lisa and Larry Saxon, Leigh Ellen Aldhizer, Joey and Monica Brady, Jesse Brady, Hank Brady; great-grandchildren, Courtney Restivo, Abigail Brady, Emily Brady and Andrew Aldhizer and brothers, Ralph and Jane Gatlin, and Butch and Madalen Gatlin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brady will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Aaron will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Griffin, GA. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
