Tracy Ann Vargo

Tracy Ann Vargo passed away on March 10th, 2024 at the age of 65, surrounded by family. She was born on November 8, 1958; daughter of August and Anna Morabito. Raised in St. Clair Shores, she was the third born to Augie and Ann. Her primary education was completed at St. Isaac Jogues. Tracy then graduated from Lakeview High School and continued her pursuit of education at Wayne State University where she earned her Masters in Education. She spent her career in the Roseville Community School District. Tracy’s dedication and passion for teaching paved the way for not only a fulfilling career, but also the formation of meaningful friendships that will always be cherished. Her affinity for cooking and baking brought her immense joy, especially when paired with hosting friends and loved ones. Being together is how Tracy was happiest and so much of that time was spent with her daughter Briana. Words are not enough to express the unconditional love and irreplaceable bond that existed between the two of them. She was enamored with being a Grandmother to Stella and to her grand dogs, Oliver and Nigel.

She will be forever loved by her daughter, Briana Martz (Norbert), adored by her granddaughter Stella, and missed by her siblings Andria Gerardi (Tom), Greg Morabito (Pam), Alison Wood (Dave) and dog Louie who never left her side. Tracy was predeceased by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. She will lie instate on Friday, March 15th from 10:30 am until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St Isaac Jogues Church, 21120 Madison, St Clair Shores.
