Betty Ann Opryshek, 88 of Hamilton passed away Friday January 11, 2019. She was born June 2, 1930 in Baytown Texas, to Cecil and Lila Weaver. Memorial Service will be January 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville Texas.
Betty was a woman of faith who daily read her devotionals and prayed before beginning her day. She loved to write children’s stories and songs for her grandchildren. She submitted Shive News to the Hamilton Herald News for a few years. Betty and John loved traveling with RV club friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ray C. Weaver, Billy Jack Weaver, son in law Matthew Parsley.
She is survived by John Opryshek of 47 years, daughters; Linda Jarnagin and husband Glenn, Penny Stovall, Susan Hunter and husband Terry, Lynne Parsley.
