Charlotte Joyce Stevens Anglin, age 79, entered her heavenly home on the evening of January 8, 2019. The youngest of five children, Mrs. Anglin was born to William and Ellen Stevens on October 11, 1939. Mrs. Anglin worked as a waitress and nurse's aide. She enjoyed attending bible study and was a talented quilter who enjoyed quilting with her friends in the quilting club. Joyce was always full of spunk and loved to be the center of attention at any party. If you ever needed someone's opinion, she was sure to let you know hers. She was a member of Littleville Baptist Church where she loved to worship her Lord. She was the proud mother of five children: James Hall, Patsy Stroud, Mickey Medina, Arnetta Gossett and Tammy Cobb. Granny Joyce was just as proud of her 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Newspaper clippings and photographs of their achievements and milestones could be found in her bible and proudly displayed around her home.
Mrs. Anglin is preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Bob Anglin), all of her siblings (Ruby Vickers, Jessie D. Stevens, Cleo Stevens and J.Y. Stevens), her son (James Hall), two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Left to cherish her memory are: daughter Patsy Stroud (Hamilton), daughter Mickey Medina (Killeen), daughter Arnetta Gossett (Hamilton), daughter Tammy Cobb (Arlington), and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
