Bessie Alice Zuna

Born on March 14, 1977, in Maine, Bessie brought kindness and compassion into the lives of those who knew her. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Bessie dedicated many years of her life in service to the Commonwealth, working for the state of Pennsylvania. Her quiet strength, diligence, and kind spirit left a lasting impression on her colleagues and community alike.

She is survived by her father, James Zuna Sr.; her brother, James Zuna Jr.; sister-in-law, Jennifer Zuna; and nephews, Nathan Zuna and Caden Zuna. Bessie also leaves behind numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as other extended family and friends too numerous to count who loved her dearly.

A true animal lover, Bessie had a special affection for cats and was a supporter of animal welfare throughout her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to any local animal rescue organization in Bessie's memory, honoring her lifelong love for animals.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
