Betty Marie Magaro passed away July 18, 2025. She was born January 6, 1930 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A daughter of the late Donald Heim and Marion (Irvine) Heim. She was a graduate of John Harris High School. She worked for Bell Telephone for several years. She retired from Nationwide Insurance after a career of 20 plus years in the insurance industry. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her husband Ernest Magaro, daughter Victoria Marie Magaro and brother Robert Heim.
Surviving are three sons, Ernest (Kelly), Michael, David (Janice) and one daughter Deborah (Alan) Magaro Lewandowski.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Michael Magaro, David Magaro (Emily), Lauren Brightbill, Joshua Heilig (Amy), Daniel Magaro, Jessica Heilig, Austin Magaro (Lauren), Colin Magaro (Rebecca); six great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Sydney, Dahlia, Georgie, Wilson and Rory. She had three loving nieces, Bonnie and Donna in Harrisburg and Jennifer in Texas.
She always had a special place in her heart for her feline companions.
