Sithat Phetsarath

He was born on January 10, 1955 in Savannakhet, Laos and was the son to late Baod and Munh Phetsarath.

In 1980, he came to America and moved to Virginia in 1988. He was employed as a roofer with Shencorp, Inc. from 1988-2022 before retiring.

He is survived by daughter, Linda Phetsarath (Kareem Hunter) of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Alena Fornecker (Jesse Tabor), Meaghan Phetsarath (Marcus Blankenship), Christopher Phetsarath; Karmine and Karmelo Hunter, Kristie Sonexay (Osman Velasquez) and Jason Sonexay; great grandchild, Delia Fornecker; brothers, Yod and Khamdeng Phetsarath; nieces, Kelly and Dianna Syharath; nephew, Justin Syharath; and former wife, Souriyanh Phetsarath.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Kham Phetsarath; sister, Tume Phetsarath, brother, Thone Phetsarath.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Kevin Phengsitthy officiating. Following the service, he will be cremated.
