She was born on September 11, 1934 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late William Raymond and Eula Pearl VanPelt Waggy.
June was a member of Spaders Lutheran Church and the Rion Bowman VFW Post #632 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed feeding her birds, watching hockey and golf, and cheering for Tiger Woods. She always made rum cake for people during the Christmas holiday.
Her husband, James O. Riddle, Jr., preceded her in death on September 5, 1999.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Riddle (Wanda) and Kerry Riddle both of Mt. Holly, NJ; four grandchildren, Allyson, Tracy (Rich), Crystal (Brandon), Melissa (Jason); five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; six sisters, Janet Knighten of Jobstown, NJ, Vetta Bayse (Ray), Donna Neighbors (Bari) and Debra Clements all of Roanoke, Connie Miles of Battle Ground, WA and Nancy Sites (Gale) of Dayton; five brothers, Ray Waggy of Dickinson, TX, Marlyn Waggy (Judy) of Ethridge, TN, Keith Waggy (Fern) of Newport, WA, Don Wooddell of Mt. Sidney and Timothy Wooddell of Bridgewater; numerous nieces and nephews; and her caretakers, Nancy and Kathie.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Foreman; one grandchild, Erik Foreman; one great-grandchild, Christopher Bialczak; two sisters and one brother.
June will be cremated and a graveside service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Jacobs (Spaders) Lutheran Church Cemetery.
