Funeral Services will be held to honor the life of Elsa Hoeflich at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Elsa was born on September 20, 1938 in Puchhausen, Germany. In December of 1963, she relocated to the United States with her family. She worked in the casinos as a dealer and really enjoyed the friends she made there. Elsa was happy cooking and surrounding herself with friends and family. She was social and outgoing, as well as a loving military wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Hoeflich; parents, Jhonn and Katherina Kappelmeier; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Elsa is survived by her children, Diana Purcell (John Crawford), Richard Hoeflich (Helen), Michalle Jones (Allen); grandchildren, Gino Notini, Dominick Notini, Jennifer Purcell (Wesley Rachal), Nicholas Hoeflich (Caitlin), Katherine Wilkes (Christopher), Kevin Hoeflich, Joshua Roberson (Caitlin), Kendall McGinty (Austin), and Allen Michael; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Skylar, Vanessa, Ashton, Gino, Nevaeh, Max, Paisley, Scarlett, Olivia, Rylee, Haylee, Sofia, Carlee, Weslee, and Jonas; sisters, Ida Gates, Hilda Kanopka, and Rosa Beard as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Roberson, Christopher Wilkes, Dominick Notini, Gino Notini, Austin McGinty, Nicholas Hoeflich and Kevin Hoeflich.
