Marie T. LeJeune

Bossier City, LA – Mrs. Marie T. LeJeune, age 76, passed away due to cancer on Sat. Mar. 17th. Visitation will be at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 US Hwy 80 East in Haughton on Tuesday, Mar 20th from 5PM to 7PM to followed by a vigil service at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM Wed., at the Cathedral of St John Berchmans Catholic Church, 939 Jordan St., Shreveport, LA 71101. Celebrating the mass will be her beloved dear friends, Fr. Peter Mangum and Msgr. Carson LaCaze. Interment will follow at the mausoleum at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Marie was a native of Basile, LA, a resident of Bossier City for 13 years and a resident of Minden for 22 years. She was a devout member of the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, a Catholic Church where she attended masses that she so dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her parents Enos and Helen Richard: sisters, Carrie Fontenot, Ursa Falcon, Nan Richard, Reelie Fusilier and brother Jimmy Richard. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Herman LeJeune; two daughters, Tina Harding-McNabb & husband David of Mansfield, TX; Kim LeJeune Carlson & husband John of Lee's Summit, MO; one son, Richard LeJeune & wife Margaret Hill LeJeune of Denver, CO. She also leaves behind six wonderful grandchildren; Ryan & Erin Mettetal, Michelle & Julia Carlson, Adam & Jason LeJeune.

Marie dearly loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her catholic religion, tennis, cooking, dancing, decorating, entertaining, and flower gardening.

Pallbearers will be: Wayne Orr, Michael Mettetal, David Jones, Tom Guanella, Pat Worley and Joe Tauzin.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to organ fund at The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church.
