Martha D. Rogers

BOSSIER CITY LA- Funeral services for Martha DuBose Rogers will be held on Tuesday April 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bishop Frank Rougeau and Kent Judkins officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday April 23, 2012.

Martha was born on December 4, 1940 in Andalusia AL, and passed away April 20, 2012 in Shreveport LA. She was a loving wife, mother, and caregiver of her children. Martha was a Member of the Church of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Welcome DuBose and Rosa Lee DuBose: a sister, Yvonne DuBous Stevens; her husband Richard W. Rogers SR; a daughter Donna Rogers.

Martha is survived by sons, Richard W. Rogers JR and wife Susan, Wade Rogers; a sister Betty Jean Collins; brothers, Theron “Buddy” Lamar DuBose and Danny Leon DuBose; grandchildren; Richard W. Rogers III, Benjimin B. Rogers, and DeAndra M. Reighard; Great-grandchildren; Christien Reighard, Briana Reighard, and Marshall Jacob Reigard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brain Anderson, Robert Parr, Dennis Thomas, Derek Bodiford,, Richard W. Rogers III and Mark Lancaster.
