

Carol Selma Moore, 79 of Menifee, California, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. She was born on Monday, November 11, 1935 in Alexandria, Minnesota, to the late Norman Nelson and the late Viola Shippey Nelson. She lost her husband Charles Moore in July of this year.
Carol was an accomplished artist, she painted with oil and water colors as well. She loved watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune; she was also quite the bowler. Carol had a picture album of almost everyone in her family. She recently started attending Menifee Bible Church and loved to volunteer at the Kay Cisneros Senior Center, in Menifee. Her family remembers her as the best back seat driver ever! She was not shy about telling you how to drive and what streets to take even if she had never been to the town before! Carol was feisty but loved her husband Charles and family dearly. She will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Wayne Randall, Debra Shinholster; her brothers, Thomas Brackin and James Brackin; her sisters, Sharon Rice, Linda Burr and Norma Haider-Jacobson; and 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Amber Moore, sister, Viann Brackin.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Miller-Jones Mortuary - Sun City located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California 92586. Interment will be held privately at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
In lieu of flowers, family has asked to please donate to the Kay Cisneros Senior Center, in Menifee.
