I tried calling him Mr Bob and he shot that down real quick! I wasn’t his neighbor for as long as I’d hoped but for the time we had him, he was always such a pleasure. The neighbor a single mom to newly wed needed when a good belly laugh was just what the Dr ordered! He insisted for weeks that I’d head down to the Farmers Market for watermelons. Itty Bitty ones as he’d call them. He finally showed up at my door with two in tow and let me tell ya, Bob had a knack for good Eatin’! 

Needless to say he brought us two more then I was utterly compelled to carry my father down to this monument of a Farmers Market off of Agri-Park. And the silence pretty much told me all I needed to know of his opinion of Bob’s coveted watermelons! 

Bob & those watermelons were the best things to have around, cut up with and reason to lick your fingers after a good ole laugh! The Gooch Family sends immense thanks to the Senters’ for lending us Murfreesboro neighbors the sweetest, watermelon loving man a girl and her family could ask for. 

We truly miss that loud ‘Hey There’ to fill the block! 

David and Family,  so sorry to hear that your brother Bob passed.  He will be greatly missed.  Everyone in our thoughts and prayers.

Bob took a chance on me when he hired me to be an institutional sales rep at Goldline Laboratories in 1992.  I can still hear him saying, “Jimmy, all ya gotta do is sell nifedipine unit dose.”  And I did.  I was honored to replace Bob as the district manager when he was promoted to institutional national accounts, and then to follow him into national accounts as well.
Bob was charming.  He was opinionated.  He was smart.  He was funny, and he could spin tales for hours.  He will be missed.  God bless.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We go back to the 1970’s as colleagues at the local EMS (ambulance service). We also were at MTSU together.
Bob and I touched bases with each other over the years. In the last couple of years we had the opportunity to get together often and we greatly enjoyed our renewed friendship. If you were Bob’s friend at anytime you were his friend for life. I will miss my friend. My heart and prayers are with Bob’s family.

Bob and I met over 30 years ago while working for the same pharmaceutical company.  We became friends while working together and remained friends all through the years.  Bob was a great salesman and excelled at any hobby or interest he pursued.
I have great memories of him, especially on some of our fishing trips.  He loved to talk about his sons and never failed to have an entertaining story.  I extend my deepest sympathy to the family and hope God will guide them through this time.  He will be missed.

Bobby, as we called him, was my 1st cousin as my mother, Agnes Senters-Harris, was his aunt. 

Mom loved Bobby and his brothers Spencer, Johnny, and David, and they knew it by the way she smiled at them and cooked for them, especially biscuits.     She taught my sisters, Lynda and Glenda, and I to love them too.

The "boys" and us were Grandma and Papa Senters' first grandchildren and we were born as stepping stones Spencer, Lynda, Bobby, me, Johnny, David, and Glenda 8 years later plus many, many more cousins.      Our grandparents taught us of God's love for us too.

Bobby could play the piano better than me and could beat me at any word game or puzzle.   However, the boys taught us to be competitive, backyard tackle-football included.

My heart-felt understanding and sympathy to all those that Bobby treasured.

To the family and friends of Bobby I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one.  May our Lord comfort, strengthen and be with each of you in the days that follow.  
Although l have not seen Bobby in years I think of him often and we did have communication not too long ago. I hold dear many memories of our childhood growing up together. He was from a family of all boys and I came from a family of all girls so we were more like brothers and sisters rather than first cousins always celebrating birthdays together.  Then as we entered into the teenage years I fondly remember him entertaining us playing the piano songs of The Platters "Smoke gets in your eyes" etc.  We would play records and dance & dance in their basement. As adults life took us in different directions living in different parts of the country.  I thought you would enjoy reading a few of my memories.

Bob and I worked together on his personal financial planning for years.  Bob was always very thankful for my efforts and always reminded me of such.  Bob had a great sense of humor as well and had a great, positive outlook on life.
