Born in Guyana, he is the husband of Kamla Carpen, and father of Rondell Carpen, Jason Carpen, Kepler Carpen and Jessica Carpen and her husband, James Neely. Son of Baba Carpen and the late Kennard Carpen. Brother of Ann Carpen, Anthony Carpen and Deborah Dillon. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Mason, Jasmine, Juliana and Giselle.
He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and will be missed by all dearly.
