Betty Louise Rice-Pascalis (91) of Miami passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012, due to complications from Cancer. Betty was born in Miami, Florida on February 25, 1921. She graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1939. She was married to John Pascalis on December 25, 1942 and later moved to Norman, OK where John was stationed for the U.S. Navy until 1945. Betty worked for First National Bank, Sun Bank, Florida National Bank, & United National Bank. She retired in 1993. Betty was the President of the PTA at Citrus Grove Elementary School and was also very involved at Shenandoah Presbyterian Church for 28 years and later at Grenada Presbyterian Church which are both located in Miami. Betty is survived by her son Keith Pascalis, daughter-in-law, Donna Pascalis, her three grandchildren; Jason, Jillian and Meghan Emery, her sister Rosalie Miller and her brother Barry Rice and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, from 6-9 pm and Funeral Service on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 11am, by Pastor Garland Robertson of Two Rivers Church, all at Fred Hunter Funeral Home on Taft Street in Hollywood.
