Carole Travis Gilman, 72, Hollywood, Florida, died May 30, 2018. She was born Dec. 29, 1945, in Summit, New Jersey, and moved to Hollywood six years ago from Pearland, Texas. She was a homemaker, and served as the Controller for her son's law firm in Pearland prior to acting as Treasurer for St. John's Episcopal Church in Hollywood.
Survivors include her husband, John Edward Gilman of Hollywood; her son, Douglas Travis Gilman of Pearland; her daughter, Wendy Martin Zeledon-Gilman of Hollywood; her three grandchildren, Macy Kay Gilman and Avery Ann Gilman of Pearland, and Julian Gilman Zeledon of Hollywood; and her siblings, Paul Travis Jr. of Irmo, South Carolina, and Robert Travis of Bartonsville, Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1704 Buchanan Street, in Hollywood.
