Newton P.F. Tan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 28, 1950. He to be with our Lord on May 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Newton graduated from McKinley High School Class of 1968, served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, and retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Ship Yard, Shop 17.
Preceded in death by father Richard Tan. Survived by mother: Ethel Tan, children: Tammy Tan and Tiffany (Kenny) Kimizuka, siblings: Norman (Joyce) Tan, Nathleen (James) Young, and Nelson (Carma) Tan, grandchildren: Keila Kimizuka, Lura Kimizuka, and Mila Kimizuka.
Visitation will be held Newton will be held at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Aloha Attire. No flowers please.
