Well Mot, the "it will get easier" part still hasn't happened.  But we to make it through days one at a time. I know you would be real put out with me if I just gave up. Vic has been a blessing to me. She and I have leaned on each other a bunch in the last two years. Just don't know what I would do without her. Thank you for all the wonderful years we had together Sis, you were always my hero. Buddy still misses you:(

Well Mot, I spent my first birthday without you.  Boy what it was the pits. I missed you so bad.  Nobody to play with.  To  be honest I can do without anymore if they are going to be that bad. Life is just not fun with you gone. I love and miss you so much.

Hi Sis, Well everyone has told me that missing you will get better.  So far not so good. Not a day goes by that I need to ask you something or just to share something. It is really the pits being the last one standing.  Vickie has been a blessing as she too misses you. But I just hate putting all my weakness on her. I love you so much, you were my best friend.

Oh, Mar, I have been living in the past today and remembering and missing you so much.  The house on Woodfern is up for sale and although I knew this day was coming and that it has to be, I think of your house as a symbol of all that you are to your loved ones.  It will always be Martha's and Wilburn's house.  In the earlier years, driving up to your house meant "Let the fun begin."  Ha, when we grew a little older, we usually had to rest a bit and fortify ourselves with a drink and a snack before we got on a roll.  Seriously, your home always reached out and enfolded us in welcome and love and comfort.  It is a very special place - made special, of course, by you and Wilburn and all that you were and are to all of us.  In my heart, there will always be 7246 Woodfern and you, my dearest, coming out the front door smiling.

Dearest Mar - I probably don't have to tell you this as you were surely there but I have just returned from Houston where I was able to visit with Beci and all of your wonderful friends. They are all so smart and funny and loving and wise - in other words, perfect.  I am so happy that you had them in your life and that you'll always live in their hearts.

Hey Mot,  I just talked to Vicki and she said that she has written you two messages and neither has posted. She said  to tell you the internet spooks are after her again. Well Buddy and I made it through the day without you. I reached all day for the phone to call you and tell you it was snowing.  Buddy thought nothing of it when we went for his walk.

Well Sis we did Thanksgiving here at our house this year.  John out did himself.  The food was so good. 
 You were so missed, I thought of all the holidays you and I spent over those many years and all of the ones we were apart. Will I ever stop missing you.  
Buddy is doing fine.  The weather is getting cold here so I know he will be wearing his heavy coat alot.  I also have a second one for him with a hood,  I hope he will wear. Oh well we shall see.

Martha was always the "mom" in our office until she retired. She and Wilburn endured so much during both their illnesses. May they both rest in peace.

Martha, You will be greatly missed, but I know you will be loved and adored in Heaven...you are a special person to many people, your loving smile will be missed most of all.

I love you momma. I'll miss you. Give daddy a hug for me, Mama K and Daddy H too. I feel better knowing ya'll are all together.
