Ruby Evelyn Hamlin Miller

Ruby Evelyn Hamlin Miller was born on April 12, 1927, in the small town of Donie, Texas, which is near Teague, Texas, to Clifford (Sam) Roscoe Hamlin and Jewel Aubrey McMahon Hamlin. She was soon followed by Donald, Daniel, Charles and Sammy Hamlin.

Ruby is survived by her brothers Charles Ray Hamlin and Sammy Glen Hamlin, her three children and their children: Daughter, Judy Evelyn Nelson Secor and husband, Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Secor, Jr. Their children, William (Bill) Keith Nelson and his children, Dakoda Alexandra Nelson Mazzii, and William (Liam) Nelson; Deidre Elaine Secor Hardcastle Kelley, her husband Barre' Lynn Kelley, Jr., and their children, Philip Gabriel Hardcastle and his son, Christian Damion Hardcastle; Christopher Samuel Hardcastle and his wife, Christina Louise Miksch Hardcastle; Nathaniel Stephen Haynes; Zachary Lynn Kelley; Joshua Aden Kelley. Sons, Robert (Bobby) Larue Miller; Danny Randall (Randy) Miller and his children, Clifford Randall Miller and Cody Robert Miller.

Ruby was pre-deceased by her parents, Clifford Roscoe Hamlin and Jewel Aubrey Hamlin, and by her brothers Donald Hamlin, and Clifford Daniel Hamlin, and her beloved husband, Robert Warren Miller.

On Wednesday morning, December 26th, 2012, a little after 10 am, she went home to the Lord and to be with her family and loved ones who went before her, and will be interred at Driver Cemetery in Freestone County, between Teague and Fairfield, Texas, on Saturday, December 29th, at 3pm.

Family and friends will also be gathering at a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28th at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services, led by Mr. Joe Fruzia, will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 29th at 10:00 a.m.
