Henry R Lacombe Jr.

Henry Raoul Lacombe Jr passed away peacefully in his home in Brooksville, FL at the age of 99 on Monday October 28, 2019. He was the husband of Doris (Belanger) Lacombe. Born June 12, 1920, in Fall River MA. He was the son of the late Henry and Francelina (Ferreira) Lacombe. He was the brother to the late Mary (Lacombe) Cassavant, Doris (Lacombe) Blaisdell, Florence (Lacombe) Blinn, Norman Lacombe, Raymond Lacombe and Joseph Lacombe. He was the father of Joy (Lacombe) Crowley of Somerset MA, Helen (Lacombe) and her late husband Ronald Vezina of Somerset MA, Arlene (Correira) and her husband Emile Thibodeau of New Bedford MA, Karen (Correira) and her husband Bruce Venancio of Brooksville FL, Lisa (Lacombe) and her husband Michael Powers of Fall River MA, Henry Lacombe III of Brooksville FL, and Stacey (Lacombe) and her husband Eric Gauthier. The Grandfather to Steven, Kevin, Wendy, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Shonda, Crystal, Craig, Heather, Jessica, Kayla, Henry IV, Rachel, Cole, and Alec and several great grandchildren.

Henry served in the US Army during the Atomic Bomb period during World War II, he worked in the artillery division. He was a life member of the East End Sportsmans Club in Fall River, MA where he volunteered his time as a board member, and president for several years. He was always willing to help others, had a great sense of humor and a kind gentle manner.

Henry will be honored with full military service on December 9, 2019 at 11am in the Florida National cemetery located at 6502 SW 102 nd Ave, Bushnell FL. For his friends and family in his home town a memorial Mass will be held in his honor at a later date.
