Darlene K. Grodrian, 80 of Huntington passed away at 1:13 am on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Darlene had attended Warren Township High School. She was a homemaker. Darlene had worked at Wabash Magnetics, United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren and Our Sunday Visitor. She was a member of the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed fishing, garage saleing and crocheting. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Darlene was born on August 20, 1937 in Wells County, the daughter of Dale and Dorothy (Pond) Dillon.
She was united in marriage to Phillip Grodrian on August 16, 1964. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2012.
Survivors include three daughters: Valerie (Richard) Brown of Fort Wayne; Stephanie Ort of Huntington; Natalie (Joe) Fouts of Huntington; a brother: Darell Dillon of Florida; a sister: Diann Hall of Marion; six grandchildren: Colin, Ryan and Kyle Brown, Stacy Dennis, Brandi Garza and Joey Fouts and six great grandchildren: Hunter and Shay Haney, Nathan Garza, Benjamin, Linessa and Adam Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dale and Dorothy Dillon; husband: Phillip Grodrian; a great grandson: Gunnar Haney and a brother: Don Dillon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1:30 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel with Rev. LuAnn Fulton officiating.
Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery.
