Immaculata was born in Maska Uganda on March 17, 1937 and graduated from Busubizi T.T.C. Koko Nursing University. Immaculata worked at Mityana Mulago hospital as the ICU head nurse before leaving for the United States at the age of 37 with her husband Joseph and her 7 children. In the USA she worked as a nurse at theee sister nursing home.
Immaculata is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Fernandes, mother Solome Nabagereka and sister Demi Nabagereka.
Immaculata is survived by a legacy of 7 children and their children; Francis (Brandon and Brianne), Joe (Makia, Patrice, Candice, JoJo, Monica), Angie and Tim Browder (Trevor and Justin), Leonard and Dawn (Fallon, Katelyn, Christian, Aria), David and Hilary (Austin, Dominique), Mari and Cliff Polley (Tiersa, Triston, Tyler), John Bosco and Shalonda (Isaiah), and 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
