Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, with burial to follow in St. Andrews Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mike was born November 19, 1961 in Aurora, MN to Charles and Shirley Ewer Huusko. In 1986, he married the love of his life and made a few enemies when they were married on Carolina Clemson rivalry game day. He spent the next 34 years dedicated to Karin and raising their three daughters. Mike enjoyed the little things in life like spending time with the grandchildren that he adored and relaxing next to the swimming pool. He was passionate about NASCAR and enjoyed shooting pool and playing cribbage with friends and family.
He is predeceased by his brother, Lyle Huusko, and two granddaughters, Winter Bradberry and Kacey Pepper. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Karin Elmgren Huusko; daughters, Kimberley Anderson, Wendy Thomas (Matt), Crystal Pepper (Timothy); son, Larry Bradberry (Kirklyn); four grandchildren, Lee Bradberry, Khayleb Johnson, Bentlee Bradberry, Ainsley Bradberry; a great-granddaughter, Alyce Miles; parents, Charles and Shirley Huusko; siblings, Chuck Huusko, Gary Huusko (Lori), Larry Huusko (Virginia), Pamela Kleimo (Eugene), David Huusko (Kate); nephew, Frank Vaughan (Jennifer); special friends, JC and Kim Morris, Corrine and John Buster, Brandon and Rosie Metcalfe, Zach and Dawn Bass; and numerous extended family members.
