Charles M. Cloud

CLOUD Reverend Charles M. Cloud age 78 of Jacksonville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 28, 2013. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years Doris Cloud, a Son Jack (Gale) Cloud, Grandchildren, Wayne Cloud, Charles Smith, Stan (Contessa) Smith, Great Grandchildren, Charles Smith, II, Aurora Smith, Triston Smith, Sisters, Mary Stewart and Bennie Cloud. Rev. Cloud was preceded in death by his Daughter Charlotte Smith, Son-in-Law Nelson Smith. Rev. Cloud was the Pastor of the Westside Church of the Nazarene for 35 years, Church of the Nazarene in Wauchula, Florida for 3 years, and worked in prison ministry. He was a wonderful man of God, a good husband, father, and friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor and never met a stranger. Rev. Cloud was retired from faithful service to the Nazarene Church and Hardage-Giddens Funeral Homes. Visitation with the family will be Friday November 1st, 2013 at 6-8 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel 729 South Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, Florida. The funeral service will be Saturday November 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakhill Church of the Nazarene Church, 4151 Old Middleburg Road Jacksonville, Florida 32210 1-904-771-7860 with Rev. Orville Jenkins and Rev. Ben Kesselring officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
