Also known by Lee Roy Knowles.
LeRoy Brooks Knowles.
Was married to my mother, Sarah or Sara Massey Knowles from July 2, 1976 until present day.
He was a Tugboat Captain, who retired transporting oil for COLONIAL OIL.
He met my mother, Sarah Margaret Massey NEW YEAR'S 1975, at The Malibar, in Jacksonville, FLa.
They married July 2, 1976, at The Mormon Church on San Jose Blvd and had me, Anne Brooks Knowles, September 29, 1977.
They lived in Windy Hill until 1980, when they moved to Sandalwood, where my father left this Earth by way of Memorial Hospital, after a LONG and hard battle with cancer.
He had 11 sisters and brothers in his IMMEDIATE family. Irene Brannon and Robert Brooks were his birth parents.
When my father and his twin sister LaVern, were both 3months old, my grandmother Irene passed and he was given to a family by the name of KNOWLES.
He knew only his father went on to have 9 or 11, more children and I will come back to name all members known in all families..but tell you this.
He was a great dancer, a VERY LOVING man and did all he could, the best he could, with all he had.
I love and loved him with all my heart
