Elston Eudene McConnell, 89, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at his residence. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 22, 2020, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Levi Sides will officiate. He is preceded in death by his son, Stanley McConnell; parents, “W.D.” William and Corena McConnell; brothers, Edward, Adron, and Mahlon McConnell; sisters, Betty Watts and Joy Harris. He is survived by his wife, Dean Thacker McConnell; children, Belinda Buford(Jim), Conra Reeves(Kelly), and Madonna Benson(Danny); grandchildren, Clay Hyght, Jolinda Hubbard, Jessica Smith, LaChelle Benson, David McConnell, Kerri Reeves, and Caitlin Stringer; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Grady Gene and Loye McConnell; and sisters, Martha Holland and Brenda Kendrick.
