Gladys Faye Greer, 65, of Olathe, passed away July 2, 2018. A family visitation will be held from 1:00-2:30pm, Saturday, July 14th at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Olathe Memorial Fund, 15310 S. Marion St., Olathe, KS 66061.
Gladys was born June 25, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Thomas and Helen Steele. She worked as a nursing assistant for Providence Medical Center, and retired after twenty years at Sewell Plastics, later Constar. Gladys was married to Terry Roberts for four years, but married the love of her life, Mark Greer on March 20, 2003. She loved her dogs, gardening flowers, and bird watching (especially hummingbirds).
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband, Mark Greer.
Gladys is survived by her son, David Roberts of Smithville, MO; her siblings, Tom Steele of Basehor, KS, Barbara Pate of Olathe, KS, and Ruth Rentfro and husband Johnny of Bartlesville, OK; and her two dogs, Spotty and Brutus.
