Lola Mae Chance (Williams) was born Jan 3rd 1925 to Roy and Bertha Williams on a farm in Hickory County, MO. A resident of Independence, MO for over 70 years, she was a telephone operator and worked for Safeway for several years. Lola met and married Wayne Chance in 1949. They had a mom and pop grocery store for 20 years, retiring from there in 1971. Wayne and Lola had a wonderful daughter Shellie; her and her husband Don gave them two wonderful grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsey Beckley. Preceding her in death was her husband Wayne, grandson Rick Hawkings, parents Roy and Bertha Williams and brothers Lloyd, Charlie, George R Williams and their spouses, her niece Cindy and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and many wonderful friends and neighbors. Leaving her daughter Shellie Beckley and husband Don, stepdaughter Nancy Gatewood and husband Neil, step daughter Sharon Moriconi and husband Chuck and 6 grandchildren, Beverly Friesz and husband Scott, Wayne Hawkins and wife Karen, Angie and John Moriconi, Brandon Beckley and wife Diane, Lindsey Bird and husband Joshua. 8 great grandchildren Janelle and Michelle Friesz, Haydon and Ashlyn Beckley, Landon and Lexi Bird, Miles and Maddox Moriconi, Chris Friesz and wife Jamie, 2 great great grandchildren Destiny and Payton, a dear friend Gene and her special wonderful friend for over 70 years Doris Nagel, which they never had a fuss or misunderstanding. Also, Chris Jenkins for the wonderful things she did for me and was always there for me. My one wish is that all my family will come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where we can have a great reunion in Heaven.
