Ida Irene Raith

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Court at Laurelwood, Waterloo, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Heinz Raith (2004). Loving stepmother of Brigitte and her husband Heiner Escher of Germany, Hildegard and her husband Kurt Leiser of Florida, Rev. Wilhelm and his wife Barbara Leber of Germany, and Christa Krueger of Germany. Will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear stepsister of Ed May and Hertha Patrick. Ida was a lifelong member of the New Apostolic Church. A funeral service will be held at the New Apostolic Church (Margaret Avenue Congregation), 160 Margaret Ave., Kitchener on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 7:00 pm, with Bishop Michael Wagner officiating. Reception to follow at the church. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to NAC – Foreign Extension or to Grand River Hospital Foundation – Heart Function Clinic (St. Mary’s Hospital), 911 Queen’s Blvd., Kitchener, ON N2M 1B2.
