FARROW, OPAL- age 87 of Knoxville passed away February 21, 2011. Opal was born August 10, 1923 and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She retired from National Linen Service. Preceded in death by husband Howard E. Farrow, parents John and Julia Johnson, sons Bill and Roy Farrow. Survived by sons and daughter-in-law Jack and Phyllis Farrow, Carl Robert and Peggy Farrow, Jimmy and Susan Farrow, daughters and sons-in-law Jo Ann and Bob Overton, Carolyn and Charles Haun, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces , nephews, and special friend Deborah Perryman. Family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 pm at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow at 8 pm. Rev. David Rhines and Rev. Brent Turnmire officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm Friday at New Gray Cemetery for a 1 pm interment.
