Clara Rita Armstrong

Clara Rita Armstrong, 46, Kokomo, formerly of Princeton, North Carolina, passed away Saturday March 10, 2012. Survivors include her husband, Scott Armstrong; daughter, Brittani Armstrong; son, Erik Armstrong; grandson, Aaron Glunt, all of Kokomo; mother, Geneva Michalek, of North Carolina; father, Ken Gundler; adopted father, Rich Michalek, both of California; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Moore and step-father-in-law, Bob Moore, both of Kokomo; grandfather, Tom Holloman, of North Carolina; sisters, Kathy Parnell, Karen Phillips, Carol Creech and brother, Ric Michalek and their families, all of North Carolina; adopted brothers and sister, Alex Steven, Gabe, Tiffany, and foster brother, Roy Starling, of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lee Holloman, North Carolina; grandfather, Red Dealy, California; and brother, Robby Michalek, North Carolina. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
