She was born October 29, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Roy Lee Hefler and enjoyed over 50 years of marital bliss as a homemaker. She will best be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included playing the organ for her local church, and upon Roy’s retirement she enjoyed the wonderful climate and friends in Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. John J. Evans and mother Clara Turner Evans husband, Roy Lee Hefler ; brother, Robert L. Evans, and one grandson Kyle Hefler.
Those left to cherish her memory are three sons; Johnnie Lee Hefler (Vickey) of California, Randy Leon Hefler of Arizona, Sheldon Lynn Hefler (Noelle) of Westlake; three grandsons Casey, Corey and Morgan Hefler; and one granddaughter, Jordan Hefler.

Visitation will be held Thursday November 8, 2018 from 10am until 1pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Graveside services will follow at 2pm at Westlake Memorial Park.
