Don spent a lifetime helping others, being there for others. He drove a bus for 34 years before the decline of his health forced him into retirement. Some of his hobbies included working on and repairing cars, building mini toys out of wood, and other various woodworking projects, large and small. Though he may not have finished formal schooling he was one of the smartest men out there. He always had wise words and said it the way he saw it.
He was survived by his wife of 34½ years, Sharon Lanciano, and children Katina and David; four grandchildren: Amanda, Casey, Matthew "Randy", and Timothy and one great-grandson, Perseus "Percy"(Bubba); sister Mary, and brother-in-law, Russel; sister-in-law, Pamela, and brother-in-law, Michael.
Don's funeral will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33461. Viewing will be from 1 to 2pm and the funeral service will be at 2pm with the graveside service immediately following.
