VIRGINIA CORAL LESTELLE, 93, left this life for Heaven on November 29, 2020. Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 10, 1927, Virginia moved to Los Angeles in 1938 with her Father JONATHON and step-mother KATHERINE. After graduating high school, she met her future love of her life, James and was married on November 27, 1946. Virginia spent her life as a loving devoted mother of three children, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her family, sewing, knitting, bike riding but most of all she loved shopping. She was an accomplished piano player who could play magnificently at a moment’s notice. For the majority of her 52 years of living in Las Vegas, she loved going to the movies almost every single weekend. She was a great cook who loved baking and was an artist when it came to decorating a cake. Virginia was a beautiful woman who, throughout her life, always had a knack for fashion by wearing her favorite designers. Bowling, going out for a gourmet dinner, a school event or even just to the grocery store, she was always made-up and looked like a glamorous model. Virginia will be forever missed and never forgotten by her devoted husband James of 73 years, children Linda, Wende and Mark; grandson JONATHON (deceased), grand-daughters Amanda Gibson, Autumn Ostrom and great-grandson Trenton, all of Las Vegas and her dear lifelong best friend, Ruth Davis. Burial will be held on December 21, 2020 at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. (After COVID restrictions are lifted, a memorial will be held to honor and celebrate the loving life of Virginia.) Pieces of our hearts are now in Heaven.
