Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband Harold, son Brent, daughter Shauna (Steve), grandson Tate; siblings Ralph, Gladys and George, as well as numerous family and friends

Irene is predeceased by her parents Ragnvald and Kristiane.

Irene taught school in Sask. and Leduc, Alta. until her retirement in 1996. She enjoyed travelling to the States, Alaska, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Scotland and Norway with her mother, and especially time spent in Vancouver Island and in living in the Okanagan for 16 years before returning to her family in Alberta

A celebration of Life will be held July 31, 2021

In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Edmonton
