It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Larry Edward Sych at the age of 66 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Marlene Sych, his son Daniel (Christine) Sych, Daughter Julie (Jason) Lien, 9 grandchildren; Emma, Hailey, Kenton, Harrison, Rayna, Carter, Sierra, Georgia and Zenon. He also leaves behind his mother Sophie Sych, brothers Morris (Theresa) Sych and Jerry Sych as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Henry Sych.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 5105-45A Street in Leduc. The family will then lay Larry to rest in St. Michael’s Church Cemetery and then return to the church for fellowship and refreshment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or to St. Michael’s Planning for Tomorrow Fund.

On behalf of the Logan family sorry to here of the passing of Larry, our condolences go out to Marlene Sych and family, and Sophie and family. We have lots of great memories of having been neighbors growing up on the farm. Larry was very good in sports, and was an overall great person, he always had time to visit with you and a joy to be with. We all will miss him very much.
