Services for Wayne Timothy Rembert 70, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Orr officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas at 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Rembert was born July 21, 1948 in Houston Texas to the parents, Howard Rembert and Natalie. He passed away November 19, 2018 in Lufkin.
Mr. Rembert was a retired Tax Accountant and had owned Rembert Incorporated for over 30 years before retiring. Mr. Rembert was a positive and resilient up-lifting person and did not give up easy. He was a triumphant and a kind person, which never meet a stranger. He was very prestart in everything he done despite his disability. He refused to let anything get him down. Wayne will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his Mother Natalie Laffere of Palestine, Texas; son Christopher Rembert of Lufkin; stepbrother, Jim Orr and wife Retta; half-brothers; Jeff Rembert, Scott Rembert, and a dear friend, Diana Lovelady and a numerous of other relatives.
In addition to his father, Mr. Rembert is preceded in death by his wife, Dena Ann Rembert (2015) and daughter Alysia Rose Rembert.
The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Gipson funeral home.
