Bessie Shaw Hall

Born April 15, 1930, in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Beverly Shaw and Lucille Jones Shaw Barrett.

She was a retired Expediter with General Electric Corp., and a member of Hyland Heights Baptist Church.

Bessie is survived by a son, Frankie (Pam) Davis of Forest; daughters, Sandra D. Cawthorne of Evington, Donna (Mike) Neighbors of Goode; brothers, Lawrence E. Shaw of Lynchburg, Eugene Shaw of Ga., grandchildren, Chris (Crystal) Davis, Melissa (Donald) Brooks, Morgan and Gabe Hill, Katrina (Scott) Morris, Colby (Denver) Compton, David Heflin, Duncan (Kathy) Cawthorne, Christy Davis; and sixteen great-grandchildren..

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Carl Weiser officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Interment will take place the following day at Spring Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
