Lacon Melvin “Beany” Cash, Jr., 61, of Concord, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Beany is survived by two children; one step-son; his mother; five sisters; one brother and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet U.M. Church Cemetery in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
