Patricia Ann Alioto

Patricia Ann (Burke) Alioto, age 79 of Peabody, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Born in Swampscott to the late John and Harriet (Cutler) Burke. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence J. Alioto, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Patricia was the cherished mother of Stefanie F. Dalton and husband William P. Dalton of Topsfield. She was the loving grandmother of Justin, Jocelyn and Jolie with whom she loved to spend time with, attending their sporting events and other activities. Devoted sister of six younger brothers, John R. “Butch”, Patrick K., Sean R., Timothy D., and the late Edmund C. and James M. “Mike” Burke. Patricia graduated with honors from Lynn English High School, class of 1959. Following her education, she worked as an executive assistant for International Marketing at Polaroid. Upon her retirement she loved to volunteer and participate at the Swampscott Senior Center. Patricia was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to go for her daily walks and afternoon lunches with friends. She looked forward to her trips to Foxwoods and yearly trip to Aruba. She was the happiest spending quality time and celebrating holidays with her family. Patricia’s family would like to thank the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Patricia and her family by the incredible nursing staff of Massachusetts General Hospital, Lunder 9. Friends and family are invited to attend Patricia’s Visitation on Wednesday January 26, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street Lynn, MA 01904. Her Funeral Mass will follow On Thursday January 27 at 11am at St. Rose of Lima Parish 12 Park St. Topsfield. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
